Problem 1: Ignition Switch Problem
Is your Polaris 570 hard to start? Well, the problem might be with the ignition switch.
Here are the symptoms in the case of the Polaris Ranger ignition switch problem:

- The UTV will stall.
- Dashboard lights may flicker.
The solution is by Polaris Ranger ignition switch replacement.
Step 1: Removing The Ignition Switch
Take off the plastic pins that are attached to the dashboard’s front side. The top panel of the dashboard should then be removed. Next, unscrew the large nut that is holding the ignition key in place.
Through the panel that has been removed, access can be gained to the back of the dashboard. Be sure you get a firm grip on the ignition key in a secure manner.
Turn the key in the ignition by first pushing it in from the front of the dashboard. And then pulling it out from the back.
Step 2: Disconnecting the Ignition Switch
Take the key, switch off the ignition and disconnect it from the connection socket. To remove it, you just only pull it out.
You can accomplish this by opening the panel on the front of the UTV. You might also choose to lift the hood and access the compartment from that side.
Step 3: Reinstalling the Ignition Switch
Reconnect the new ignition key to the connection socket. Do it through the removed dashboard or open hood. Whichever seems easier to you.
After connecting the new ignition key, you must place it in the dashboard again. Put it through the hole. Then re-screw the nut to hold the ignition in place.

Step 1: Preparing the Fuel Tank

Detaching the Quick Connect is necessary while checking fuel pressure. Connect this to the high-pressure line leading to the engine’s fuel injectors.
Take the fuel line off the Quick Connect. Take great care as you turn off the power. As you disconnect the fuel line, you should use a towel to absorb any remaining fuel pressure.
Use a fuel injector pressure gauge to check the pressure now. The machine includes both a bleed valve and a Quick Connect that plug into a respective adaptor. Connecting the fuel pump and the high-pressure fuel line directly to the adapter is possible.
You should plug the adapter’s heads into their corresponding ports. Connect the adapter to the T-hose of the gauge.
It’s time to use the bleed valve to release the trapped air. When you do this, the pressure gauge will accurately reflect the situation.
After joining the two halves of the adaptor, bring the gauge close to the engine and turn the key. You can quickly check the fuel pressure by cycling the key several times. Another person can keep an eye on the fuel pressure if you prefer.
If you want to avoid spilling fuel on the floor while cycling, place a container under the bleed valve.
Step 3: Analyzing the Result
Pump the handle several times to prime the bleeder and release fuel. To achieve a precise fuel pressure reading, you should repeat the cycling process several times.
Around 50 psi is the sweet spot for fuel pressure. And the pressure ought to rise to 58 psi without cycling.
Multiple pumping cycles may be necessary if your fuel pump is underpowered. And it won’t be any higher than 58 psi.
Step 4: Removing the Fuel Pump
The gauge must be removed from the old pump before replacement. Just like you did with the Quick Connect, take off the gauge.
Additionally, there are power cables to the Quick Connect plug. Disconnect the wires from the wall outlet.
Disassemble the plastic ring now. If the ring is too snug, you can loosen it with some lube.
Step 5: Reconnecting the Fuel Pump
Simply replace the old fuel assembly with a new one. To properly install the replacement fuel pump, simply retrace the steps that were taken to remove it.
Polaris Ranger 570 Services Reset
Sometimes, a service reset might solve the issue with starting a Polaris Ranger 570. In other cases, service resets are done to change the oil and oil filter of UTVs.
Step 1: Preparing the Engine
Park the UTV on a flat, level surface in an open area with plenty of air circulation. Put the parking brake on and put the UTV in Park.
First, turn on the engine and let it idle for a few minutes to warm up. Then turn it off.
Step 2: Cleaning the Surroundings
Now, remove the panel covering the right underfoot space. Remove the engine oil dipstick and wipe off the area around it.
Ensure the area around the drain stop is clean, then set a drain pan under the crankcase. A towel in the drain pan’s base will absorb any oil that could spill out.
Step 3: Draining the Oil
You’ll need an Allen socket of size 6 to take off the drain plug. Make sure all of the oil has drained out. Be careful to keep heated oil away from your skin.
Replacing the drain plug’s sealing washer is the next step. Wash the drain plug and the crankcase where they connect with the fluid.
Put the drain cap back in and tighten it to 12 ft-lbs.
Step 4: Changing the Filter
Clean the area surrounding the oil filter and insert the drain pan under the oil filter.
To remove the oil filter, spin it counterclockwise using a 2.5-inch oil filter wrench. The crankcase filter sealing surface should be cleaned with a dry cloth.
Don’t forget to apply a little layer of fresh engine oil on the O-ring of the replacement filter. Make sure the O-ring is in excellent shape by inspecting it.
After the replacement filter has been inserted, turn it clockwise using your hands. Do this till the filter gasket makes contact with the sealing surface. And then give it another three-quarters turn.
Put in the suggested 1.9 liters of oil. Do not fill it up too much.
Finally, you have to replace the dipstick.
Step 5: Testing
Clean any remaining oil from the car. Then, let the engine warm up for a minute or two before turning it off.
Make sure there are no water leaks. Take off the dipstick and inspect the oil. If the oil level is below the top mark on the dipstick, add as much oil as necessary.
How much fuel pressure should a Polaris 570 have?
The recommended fuel pressure for a Polaris Ranger 570 is 58 psi. Other models have other recommended levels of fuel pressure.
